5. Parallel Constant Power Heating Tape
Example:
● HBL2-J3-30 represents a single-phase, standard type parallel constant power heating tape with a rated power of 30W/m and a rated voltage of 220V.
● HBL3(Q)-J3-60 represents a three-phase, reinforced type parallel constant power heating tape with a rated power of 60W/m and a rated voltage of 380V.
The power bus wire consists of two or three parallel insulated copper conductors. Heating wires are wrapped the surface of the main insulation layer and the heating wire is connected to the bus wire at regular intervals (i.e., heating section length), forming a continuous parallel resistor. When the bus wire is powered, each parallel resistor generates heat, forming a continuous heating tape.

The parallel constant power electric heating belt consists of multiple heating sections connected in parallel over the entire length. The length can be cut according to actual needs. When heating, it must be used in conjunction with a thermostat. The medium can be accurately set to maintain the temperature and realize automatic control. The heat generation per unit length is constant. The longer the electric heating cable is used, the greater the total power output. In addition, the electric heating cable can be close to the surface of the pipeline due to its softness. The reinforced parallel constant power electric heating cable is a layer of anti-corrosion insulation layer wrapped on the outer layer of the ordinary electric heating cable. The rest of the structure is the same as the ordinary electric heating cable. In addition to the advantages of the ordinary electric heating cable, the reinforced electric heating cable also has the characteristics of high mechanical strength and strong anti-corrosion ability.
